International Trans Border Cargo Crime

Given the increased vulnerability of international supply chains in pharmaceuticals, electronics, and food this seminar will focus on the area of International Trans Border Cargo Theft, the level of police and inter-agency cooperation, and the potential for closer cooperation between police agencies and supply chain security organisations.

The seminar will examine several specific case studies from within various jurisdictions and the differing approaches to trans-border cargo theft across the globe. The central theme of the seminar will be cross border police cooperation between both the police and other law enforcement agencies and the private sector supply chain security groups.

The seminar is aimed at those individuals working in a general policing role, border protection role, organized crime, or specific cargo theft units. The seminar is promoted by IPA-Section Ireland.
